Why Ri'Chara founded Royal's Touch
Ri'Chara's journey in healthcare began 13 years ago when she became a State Tested Nursing Assistant (STNA). Starting as an STNA gave her firsthand experience with what it truly means to provide compassionate, hands-on care. It taught her that nursing is about much more than completing tasks — it is about protecting a person's dignity, building trust, and making a difference in someone's life.
As her passion for healthcare continued to grow, so did her career. She furthered her education and became a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), and later continued her journey to become a Registered Nurse (RN). Having progressed from STNA to LPN to RN, she understands what it feels like to start at the beginning, learn the fundamentals of patient care, build confidence, and work toward greater opportunities in the nursing profession.
Ri'Chara founded Royal's Touch CNA School because she wanted to use her experience to help others begin their own journey in healthcare. She knows firsthand that becoming an STNA can be more than getting a certification — it can be the first step toward an entire career.
At Royal's Touch, her goal is to provide students with quality education, practical hands-on training, encouragement, and the skills they need to enter the healthcare field with confidence. She wants students to understand not only how to provide excellent care, but also the importance of compassion, professionalism, respect, safety, and dignity.
Her own career is proof that where you start does not have to be where you finish. She started as an STNA 13 years ago, became an LPN, and then an RN. Now, through Royal's Touch CNA School, she has the opportunity to help prepare the next generation of healthcare professionals to begin writing their own success stories.
